This Francisco Cuervo Y Valdes monument was commissioned by the Albuquerque 1% for Art Program and is located at the entrance of Old Town Albuquerque. The 12'6" equestrian bronze, dedicated April 1988, depicts the founder of Albuquerque and his horse in authentic dress.
