St. Francis was created for The Church of The Holy Faith, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
In front of The Church of Holy Faith, St Francis summons us to the house of God. He draws our eyes up to the circling birds, the realm of Heaven. Holding the cross to his heart he reminds us of the promise of Christ. He spoke of spiritual joy and I believe my sculpture caught that joy.
